This is seminar is open to sworn law enforcement officers & first responders from all agencies. No prior Jiu-jitsu experience is required. We will cover simple & effective defensive tactics techniques both standing & on the ground, based on the principles of Gracie Jiu-jitsu. This class will focus on some of the most common scenarios that law enforcement officers may encounter, including defenses to common types of assaults, control techniques, weapon retention, & handcuffing techniques.
This is a benefit seminar to support P.O.S.T.-People of Service Together. All donations go directly to P.O.S.T. to support their mission of providing support & financial assistance to first responders dealing with mental & emotional trauma. P.O.S.T. is a non-profit organization that provides a safe outlet to support first responders through peer meetings, as well as providing financial assistance for counseling & treatment resources when needed, and seeks to destigmatize the need for mental health outreach.
